No.   Bible SuperSearch runs entirely (100%)* on your website.   It does not link or redirect your searches to any Alive in Christ website or any other website.   It runs 100% on your website.

* (In the future, a webservice may be offered for ease of installation. This would link to our site transparently, and users would see only your site.)

Bible SuperSearch is a Bible search and passage look up tool designed to run on a website.   It is written in HTML, PHP, and CSS (with a little JavaScript), and is powered my a MySQL backend.

Please note: Bible SuperSearch does NOT run on a regular computer; it is designed for a website and needs a web server to run.  

Due to the Preserved Word Ministries statement of beliefs, we will never offer the Apocrypha with any of our software.   However, this does not prevent you modifying the scripts and distributing it with support for the Apocrypha.

We will be releasing a package of developer's tools soon that will allow you to import any text Bible into Bible SuperSearch.  

Also, if you need help importing a Bible, you can have us produce the modules at a per hour rate. Contact us for details.

Sorry, you need to upgrade your PHP to run Bible SuperSearch.

Eventually, if there is enough demand, we may begin a concurrent project, Bible SuperSearch Webservice, which will allow you to run Bible SuperSearch in it's entirety without having MySQL database support. However, it will (transparently) link back to our databases, and there may be a small monthly charge for this service.

Unfortunatly, Bible SuperSearch will not run without PHP.   But you can link to us.   Means of doing so will be released in the future.

Also, we will soon be releasing our first HTML Bible, which will be a Bible formatted in HTML for use on a website.   Your visitors won't be able to search the Bible, but at least they will be able to browse it.

First, you should upgrade to the current version (>=2.1.00).  This version includes significant updates to the installer that should eliminate many of it's reported problems. Second, you should make sure you are using a valid MySQL username and password.  Consult with your webhost to verify your username/password.

It is free.  As in zero.

After charging for it for a few years, we have decided to make it free again.   While we offer it for free, please help us out, and order the paid download if you can.

However, support will not be free.   If you ask for support, you will be REQUIRED to give your order number or other proof before we can assist you. This includes all forms of support, including email.

We only support purchased copies of Bible SuperSearch.  You will be required to provide an order number before any support is given.  If you have obtained Bible SuperSearch from another source, you may gain support by purchasing the official download.
