A few users have expressed concern about our new software, especially since it relies on our API.
We believe our new client software is very easy to install. It’s also able to be used on websites not equipped with PHP and / or MySQL. So it is more usable than our legacy software. That being said, the client software runs off of our API located at api.biblesupersearch.com. Unlike our legacy software, it does not run completely on your website. We will soon release the code for our API, bundled with our client. This bundle will allow running the current version of the software completely on your site. Please see our downloads page.
For those who have concerns about using our client software, you may continue to use the legacy software as we’re still supporting it with bug fixes for now. (However, it is not supported in PHP 7 or above.) We are also in the process of adding several more skins to the software.
